This unique handwoven kiondo bag is made of sisal by skilled artisans from rural Kenya. The weaving technique is indigenous to the Kikuyu of Central Kenya and Kamba of Eastern Kenya. Sisal fibres are hand-dyed green and brown and woven together to create two elaborate and elegant color blocks of green and brown with a natural cream. The handles, made from high quality, sustainable and locally sourced leather are carefully hand-stitched on to the bag.
