FOUNDER AND CEO

Caroline is a Social Entrepreneur with a strong desire to see the economic empowerment of underserved people, especially those below the radar of conventional employment. She is the Founder and CEO of Crafts with Meaning, a vehicle she is using to economically empower artisans in Kenya and onwards into other African countries by standardizing their production and thereafter helping them to secure markets abroad. An Accountant and Chartered Mediator by training, she has 10years experience working for various corporates in Kenya. She also serves as a Non-Executive director at Tourism Fund, a government owned corporation in Kenya. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nairobi and an MBA from the United States International University-Africa. In recognition of the work she is doing, Caroline was named as one of the Top 40 under 40 women in Kenya in 2018. She is an avid traveler, a golfer and a singer.
